Glowing Sunday Haven With Pure Beeswax Candles.
While Mondays might be the day of the week to pull things together, freshen up and get to work, and Wednesday is famous as being “hump day” as we move closer to the weekend, it is Sunday that, in my opinion, is the most glorious of all of the seven. And when I think about why that is, there is a slower pace built into the very make-up of Sundays that begs even the busiest of us to relax and take things easy. There are lots of ways we can relax at the end of the week – a long walk in the neighbourhood or bush, gardening, checking in with a great movie or TV series, a bath – but for me, I like to say farewell to the past six days with an afternoon of cooking, music and TV surrounded by the warm glow of beeswax candles.
