Ben’s Bees Pure Beeswax Block 800g

I get a lot of orders for this one from people making their own candles or wraps at home. It’s the same wax we use ourselves, just without anything done to it yet. Raw beeswax straight off the frame comes out a deep gold colour and smells properly of honey, nothing like the pale, scentless blocks you’ll find at the craft shop.

• 800g total, split into two 400g blocks for easier melting
• Food grade beeswax, filtered by us from our own Melbourne hives
• No bleach, no additives, no fragrance, just the wax
• Low melting point, easy to melt down and re-pour
• Doesn’t go off, store it anywhere cool and dry

Why buy raw beeswax?

Raw beeswax like this is genuinely useful stuff; people use it for candle making, waterproofing beeswax wraps, conditioning wooden chopping boards, polishing leather, or just topping up an old tin of lip balm. Because it hasn’t been bleached, deodorised or blended with anything, it’s also approved by Food Standards Australia New Zealand as a food-safe glazing agent, which is part of why we’re comfortable calling it food grade.
